Job description
  • Coordinate and oversee the entire supply chain process to ensure efficiency, from procurement to final delivery.
  • Analyze logistics data to identify trends, optimize routes, and reduce transportation costs, aiming for continuous improvement.
  • Manage vendor relationships by negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with service level agreements for timely deliveries.
  • Implement inventory management strategies to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize excess inventory while avoiding stockouts.
  • Develop and execute logistics plans that align with organizational goals, ensuring on-time and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  • Utilize technology and logistics software to track shipments, manage orders, and report on performance metrics in real-time.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to resolve logistics issues quickly and efficiently, fostering collaboration and communication.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations, including customs documentation and hazardous materials handling.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential supply chain disruptions and devise contingency plans to mitigate them.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of logistics operations and propose improvements.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Experience with ERP systems and logistics software tools, showcasing proficiency in managing inventory and shipments efficiently.
  • Fluency in English, with additional languages preferred for roles that involve international logistics and communication.
  • Strong analytical skills with a knack for data interpretation to drive decision-making and process improvements.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities, demonstrating creativity in overcoming logistical challenges and improving processes.

  • Physical ability to perform tasks related to logistics, such as lifting or moving packages, and willingness to work in various settings.
