LOGISTIC OPERATIONS MANAGER (GLOBAL FASHION BRAND

Our client, a global business and online/high-end retail premium fashion brand, is experiencing strong growth and is now looking to recruit a LOGISTICS OPERATIONS MANAGER currently working in the UK to relocate to Dubai. They require someone with extensive experience to oversee their sales and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of success in managing operations, a deep understanding of import/distribution, and who has worked for a large company, ideally from a successful online fashion brand, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. This role will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, optimizing efficiency, and ensuring seamless coordination between sales and logistics teams.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working for a successful online e-commerce brand in the UK and be familiar with either SHOPIFY, MAGENTO, or WOOCOMMERCE.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and oversee sales and logistics operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives and strategies.
2. Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to optimize efficiency and effectiveness across all operational functions.
3. Manage and mentor a team of sales and logistics professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to drive continuous improvement.
4. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, inventory levels, and logistics KPIs to identify areas for optimization and cost reduction.
5. Collaborate with sales teams to develop sales forecasts, strategies, and initiatives to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals.
6. Oversee the planning and execution of logistics operations, including inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
7. Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, including WPS (Wage Protection System) and other relevant labor standards.
8. Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and regulatory authorities, to support business objectives and mitigate risks.
9. Implement technology solutions and systems to streamline operations, enhance visibility, and improve decision-making processes.
10. Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the operations team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

Experience and Qualifications Required:

1. Have at least 5 years working in an Operations role for an online e-commerce brand.
2. Familiar with either MAGENTO, WOOCOMMERCE, or SHOPIFY systems.
3. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
4. Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in operations management, with a strong background in sales and logistics operations for a global brand.
5. In-depth knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, including experience with WPS and other relevant labor standards.
6. Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing teams and driving performance improvement.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
9. Proven ability to work autonomously and effectively manage priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
10. Proficiency in technology and software systems used in operations management, such as ERP systems, inventory management software, and logistics platforms.
