HMV Mechanic

Job Recap: The HMV Mechanic will do maintenance and repairs on forklifts and trucks used throughout the facility.

Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Evaluates forklifts, wheel loaders, and other fleet vehicles to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely.
2. Identifies any vehicle, specifically forklifts, that require repairs.
3. Repairs and maintains various types of forklifts (electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic work).
4. Inspects forklifts to ensure repairs are completed properly.
5. Schedules and performs regular maintenance for forklifts and wheel loaders.
6. Maintains repair log for forklifts and wheel loaders.
7. Performs other relevant duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Ability to use hand and power tools to repair heavy machinery.
2. Capacity to read repair manuals for various types of forklifts and heavy equipment.
3. Outstanding mechanical repair skills.
4. Ability to follow instructions.
5. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
