HMV Mechanic

Job Summary: The HMV Auto mechanic will perform repair and maintenance on forklifts and vehicles utilized throughout the facility.

Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Inspects forklifts, wheel loaders, and other fleet vehicles to ensure they are functioning properly and safely.
2. Identifies any vehicle, especially forklifts, that need repairs.
3. Repairs and maintains various types of forklifts (electric, mechanical, and hydraulic work).
4. Tests forklifts to ensure repairs are completed correctly.
5. Schedules and performs regular maintenance for forklifts and wheel loaders.
6. Maintains repair logs for forklifts and wheel loaders.
7. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Ability to use hand and power tools to repair heavy equipment.
2. Ability to read repair manuals for various types of forklifts and heavy machinery.
3. Excellent mechanical repair skills.
4. Ability to follow instructions.
5. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
