Lighting Design Manager

The Lighting Design Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of innovative lighting solutions for architectural, commercial, and residential projects. This role involves managing design concepts, collaborating with architects and engineers, and ensuring that all lighting designs meet technical, aesthetic, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in lighting design, project management, and the ability to lead a team of designers and technicians.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design and development of creative and functional lighting solutions for various projects.
2. Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and engineers to integrate lighting concepts into overall designs.
3. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure efficient execution of lighting projects.
4. Research and implement the latest trends, technologies, and sustainable lighting solutions.
5. Conduct site visits to assess lighting requirements and provide technical guidance.
6. Review and approve lighting layouts, fixture selections, and technical drawings.
7. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and energy efficiency guidelines.
8. Present lighting concepts and proposals to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
9. Manage and mentor a team of lighting designers and technical staff to enhance project efficiency.
10. Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to source high-quality lighting fixtures and materials.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in lighting design, architecture, interior design, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in lighting design and project management, preferably in architectural or commercial projects.
3. Strong knowledge of lighting technologies, photometric calculations, and industry standards.
4. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Dialux, Revit, or other lighting design software.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
6. Ability to work on multiple projects while ensuring design integrity and technical accuracy.
7. Familiarity with sustainable lighting practices and energy-efficient solutions.
8. Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
