Light Vehicle Driver (Ambulance experience)

Via Medica International Healthcare LLC, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, is seeking a Driver to join our team.

Job Description:

• Picks up and drops off patients from and to designated health facilities.
• Should have basic knowledge of operating an ambulance.
• Inspecting the ambulance before each shift, checking the fuel, oil, transmission, and all fluids, and reporting any needed repairs.
• Assisting patients onto the stretcher and loading them into the ambulance.
• Driving an ambulance as quickly and as safely as possible to transport patients to home and the hospital.

Requirements:

• Holding a valid UAE manual driving license for light motor vehicles.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in driving manual & automatic vehicles.
• Must have a clean driving record; having defensive driving skills will be an added advantage.
• At least a high school graduate.
• Excellent driving skills and the ability to read a map.
