Job Description

We are seeking a professional and responsible Light Vehicle Driver to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a Light Vehicle Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of passengers or goods within the city and surrounding areas.

1. Operate light vehicles safely and efficiently to transport passengers or deliver goods
2. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
3. Plan and optimize routes using GPS and navigation tools to ensure timely arrivals
4. Perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks before and after each trip
5. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and any incidents or delays
6. Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or goods when necessary
7. Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
8. Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel
9. Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained, both interior and exterior
10. Adapt to changing weather conditions and traffic patterns to ensure safe driving

Qualifications

1. Valid driver's license for the appropriate vehicle class
2. Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
3. Minimum 5 years of experience as a light vehicle driver
4. High school diploma or equivalent
5. Thorough knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations in Abu Dhabi and the UAE
6. Excellent time management and organizational skills
7. Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
8. Customer service-oriented with a professional and friendly demeanor
9. Proficiency in using GPS and navigation tools
10. Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
11. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required
12. Physical ability to assist with loading and unloading when necessary
13. Defensive driving certification is preferred
14. Familiarity with the Abu Dhabi area and its road network is highly desirable
