Light Vehicle Driver

We are seeking a professional and responsible Light Vehicle Driver to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a Light Vehicle Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of passengers or goods within the city and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

• Operate light vehicles safely and efficiently to transport passengers or deliver goods.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Plan and optimize routes using GPS and navigation tools to ensure timely arrivals.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks before and after each trip.
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and any incidents or delays.
• Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or goods when necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained, both interior and exterior.
• Adapt to changing weather conditions and traffic patterns to ensure safe driving.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license for the appropriate vehicle class.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a light vehicle driver.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Thorough knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations in Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
• Customer service-oriented with a professional and friendly demeanor.
• Proficiency in using GPS and navigation tools.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
• Physical ability to assist with loading and unloading when necessary.
• Defensive driving certification is preferred.
• Familiarity with the Abu Dhabi area and its road network is highly desirable.
