Lifting Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

1. Oversee and supervise all lifting operations on site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
2. Conduct pre and post-lift inspections of lifting equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition.
3. Plan and coordinate lifting activities, including determining the appropriate equipment and personnel required for each job.
4. Provide clear instructions and guidance to lifting team members, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
5. Monitor and assess the performance of lifting team members, providing feedback and guidance for improvement.
6. Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks with lifting team members to ensure awareness of safety protocols and procedures.
7. Collaborate with other supervisors and project managers to ensure coordination of lifting activities with other construction activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Proven experience in planning and coordinating lifting activities, including determining equipment and personnel requirements.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lifting Supervisor in the construction industry.
3. Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to lifting operations.
4. Relevant certifications and qualifications, such as a Lifting Supervisor certification or a Crane Operator certification.
5. Physical fitness and ability to perform the duties required for lifting operations, including lifting heavy equipment.
