Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise all lifting operations on site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
- Conduct pre and post-lift inspections of lifting equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition.
- Plan and coordinate lifting activities, including determining the appropriate equipment and personnel required for each job.
- Provide clear instructions and guidance to lifting team members, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Monitor and assess the performance of lifting team members, providing feedback and guidance for improvement.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks with lifting team members to ensure awareness of safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with other supervisors and project managers to ensure coordination of lifting activities with other construction activities.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in planning and coordinating lifting activities, including determining equipment and personnel requirements.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lifting Supervisor in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to lifting operations.
- Relevant certifications and qualifications, such as a Lifting Supervisor certification or a Crane Operator certification.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform the duties required for lifting operations, including lifting heavy equipment.
