Job Description
- Monitor pool activities vigilantly to quickly identify and respond to potential emergencies, ensuring the safety of all patrons.
- Administer first aid and CPR as needed, maintaining composure and efficiency in high-pressure situations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of pool facilities and equipment to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain clear communication with team members and management to ensure swift responses to incidents.
- Educate pool users about safety protocols, swimming rules, and emergency procedures to foster a culture of safety.
- Manage pool cleanliness by conducting routine checks and reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing their concerns or inquiries.
- Document incidents, injuries, and rescues accurately to maintain a reliable record for future reference.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in sports science or health-related fields is a plus.
- Certification in Lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid from a recognized organization is mandatory.
- Previous experience as a lifeguard or in a similar role in a high-traffic aquatic environment is highly preferred.
- Candidates with at least 1-2 years of lifeguarding experience will be prioritized.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
