Librarian Vacancy in Umm-al-Qaiwain, UAE for Foreigners

We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain. The successful candidate will be in charge of managing the library, ensuring that it is well organized and stocked with the necessary materials. The librarian will also be responsible for providing reference services to patrons, maintaining a catalogue of books and other resources, and organizing and hosting events or activities. The successful candidate should have excellent research skills and be able to communicate effectively with people of all ages.

Requirements for the Candidate:

1. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field.
2. Experience with cataloguing and classifying books.
3. Knowledge of computers and their applications in libraries.
4. Excellent organizational skills and strong customer service orientation.
5. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
6. Knowledge of the English language is preferred but not essential.
