Librarian

Librarian Job Vacancy in Ras-al-Khaimah, UAE

Ras-al-Khaimah Library is looking for a professional Librarian to join our team. The successful candidate must have an excellent knowledge of library and information sciences and experience in cataloguing, classifying, and helping patrons find resources.

The Librarian will be responsible for managing the library's collection of books, periodicals, films, audio recordings, databases, and other materials. Other duties include:

1. Assisting patrons with research inquiries;
2. Updating catalogues;
3. Maintaining library records;
4. Organizing library events;
5. Helping patrons with borrowing materials.

We are seeking a committed individual who is passionate about providing excellent services to library users. A Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field is required. We are open to considering foreign candidates for this role.

The position offers a competitive salary of 1500 per month along with other benefits such as paid vacation time and health insurance coverage.
