Legal, Quality & Compliance Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Governance Manager for Legal, Quality & Compliance to join our team. This role is crucial in overseeing the legal, quality, and compliance functions, ensuring that our organization operates with integrity and in accordance with all applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Legal Governance: Oversee and manage all legal aspects of the organization, including contract management, regulatory compliance, and risk management. Provide legal advice to senior management and ensure that all operations comply with local, national, and international laws.
• Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and monitor quality management systems to ensure that all products, services, and processes meet the highest standards of quality. Lead initiatives to maintain and enhance accreditation and certification processes.
• Compliance Management: Ensure that the organization adheres to all relevant compliance standards and regulations. Monitor and assess compliance risks, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Policy Development: Develop and implement policies and procedures that support legal, quality, and compliance objectives. Ensure these policies are communicated effectively across the organization.
• Audits & Inspections: Lead internal audits and coordinate external audits and inspections. Ensure that audit findings are addressed and that the organization continuously improves its compliance and quality practices.
• Training & Development: Provide training and support to staff on legal, quality, and compliance issues. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and ethical behavior across the organization.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for legal, quality, and compliance matters, engaging with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, clients, and partners.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare regular reports on legal, quality, and compliance activities for senior management and the board of directors. Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and stored securely.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master's degree, in Legal Compliance or Quality Management, or a related field is required. May be having a professional certification (e.g., CIPP, CQA, CCEP) is highly desirable.
• Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in legal, quality, or compliance management, preferably within a regulated industry. Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex legal or compliance issues.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of legal frameworks, quality management systems (ISO, Six Sigma, etc.), and compliance standards relevant to the industry.
• Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Ethics & Integrity: Demonstrated commitment to ethical practices and the ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in all professional matters.
