Job description

Black Pearl is currently assisting our prestigious client in Abu Dhabi in the search for an experienced Legal Secretary / Legal Personal Assistant (PA) to cover a maternity leave for a period of 6 months. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic legal environment and contribute effectively to the legal department's day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the legal team.
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and organize appointments.
  • Prepare, draft, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
  • Maintain and update legal files, records, and databases with high confidentiality.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders as required.
  • Handle travel arrangements, expense reports, and other administrative tasks.
  • Support legal team members with ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum 8 years of proven experience as a Legal Secretary, Legal PA, or Secretary within a Legal Department.
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, documentation, and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Immediate availability and willingness to work in Abu Dhabi.
