This position is responsible for supporting the development of the legal processes and practices to run the day-to-day operations of the legal team. It is accountable for ensuring effective support to the special legal and commercial projects by providing high quality legal and transactional support.
Give accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics including support of the execution and delivery of Musataha and PPP projects by providing high quality legal and transactional support.
Support the execution and delivery of investment deals by providing high quality legal and transactional support.
Specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance.
Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations.
Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues.
Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, public authority etc.), creating relations of trust.
Manage external counsel appointments, budget and work activity to ensure sound and cost-effective legal advice and services to ADIO in relation to its business.
Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the ADIO's full legal rights.
Deal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders and forces.
Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization.
Conduct work with integrity and responsibility.
Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation.
Ensure that all legal team records are stored in secure, organized file systems to support shared knowledge and compliant record-keeping.
Train new staff members on legal office procedures and industry standards.
Perform any other duties as requested by the reporting manager.
