Legal Counsel

Our client wishes to recruit a Legal Counsel to provide legal advice to its business units, protect business interests, draft and negotiate agreements, translate, and coordinate with external legal counsels.

Operational Responsibility

1. Providing legal advice, including reviewing and drafting contracts, notices, and policies.
2. Negotiate, draft, execute and generally advise on agreements and legal documents.
3. Conduct research and legal studies according to the requirements and directives of management and applicable departments.
4. Preparing shareholder resolutions, board resolutions, minutes of meetings, memorandum and articles of association.
5. Identify and advise generally on management and mitigation of legal, regulatory and reputational risks, address corporate policy and compliance issues, proactively identify legal issues and provide appropriate practical solutions.
6. Perform such other duties as assigned by the line manager.

Qualifications

• Experience with a leading international law firm
• Experience with construction/procurement agreements preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent planning and organizing skills
• Excellent time and stress management skills
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)

Arabic is an advantage.
