Legal Counsel

Job Description:
Madison Pearl is partnering with a renowned government in Dubai for an opportunity of Legal Counsel. The purpose of this role is to assist the Senior Manager of Policy Advocacy in initiatives and activities that foster a favourable business environment, aligned with the Dubai Government.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform legal research and conduct international comparisons.
2. Support all aspects of Policy Advocacy, including analysing issues, comparing, translating, interpreting advocacy and legal matters, and reviewing drafts of new or amended laws.
3. Oversee communications, processes, and task execution related to Policy Advocacy with relevant stakeholders, including government entities.
4. Help prepare departmental reports, processes, business plans, and other administrative tasks.
5. Collaborate with relevant internal and external committees on issues related to the department's work.

Key Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in law.
2. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
3. Established knowledge of policy making and policy advocacy process.
4. Experience in research and academic work related to commercial and economic laws & regulations.
5. High command of English & Arabic (read, spoken, written).
