Legal Advisor, Ports Cluster

Support Ports Cluster on all legal affairs including but not limited to risks, reviewing, advising and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts and agreements.

Support company's departments through legal consulting including contracting, due diligence, litigation and ensure adherence to legal provisions and protection of company's rights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic legal advice and support to senior management and company affairs including governance, compliance and regulatory matters.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of legal documents with focus on ports and terminals including but not limited to concessions, leases, master service agreements, terminal service agreements, consultancy agreements, sale and purchase agreements, joint ventures, shareholders agreements, head of terms, partnership/ collaboration agreements and non-disclosure agreements.
• Identify and handle legal issues arising in transactions and projects.
• Handling risk in business and decision-making process.
• Support the insurance department.
• Working with the insurance department on claims.
• Liaising with external counsels and parties as required.
• Perform other tasks and duties as delegated or assigned by the General Counsel.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent LLM/PHD from a recognized and reputable university.
• Sound experience in drafting, negotiation and managing different types of commercial transactions.
• Transactional experience in relation to port and terminal projects including construction and development.
• Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands under pressure.
• Capable to work independently as well as in a team and able to bridge legal and commercial and technical.
