Leather Products Designer/Artist

We are looking for a Leather Products Designer/Artist (Bags, Wallets, Belts, Card holders, etc.) with the following experience:

1. Use pattern to measure and cut pieces of leather.
2. Design leather goods, coverings or accessories, and prepare leather using chemicals (if required).
3. Stitch pieces of leather by hand or sewing machines.
4. Add handles, straps, and buckles.
5. Stain, wax, and polish products.
6. Adjust machinery and equipment, as required.
7. Apply finishing touches, such as edge painting, polishing, and adding hardware or embellishments, to enhance the overall appearance of the leather goods.
8. Craft custom-made leather products tailored to individual preferences.
9. Collaborate closely with clients to create personalized leather goods.
10. Ensure precise and durable assembly of leather products using various techniques.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Experience in leather design, pattern making, and leather working. A strong portfolio showcasing creative, high-quality designs and technical skills is essential. Keeping up-to-date with leatherworking techniques, sustainable practices, and fashion trends is crucial in this competitive field.
