Leasing Agent
Job description
1. Property Leasing & Tenant Management:
- Assist property owners with marketing their properties for rent.
- Respond to tenant inquiries and schedule property tours.
- Prepare and execute lease agreements in compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Screen and qualify potential tenants, including background and credit checks.
2. Property Marketing:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract tenants (online listings, social media, print, etc.).
- Maintain updated property listings with accurate descriptions and high-quality photos.
- Host open houses and property viewings.
3. Lease Negotiation:
- Present lease terms and negotiate rent rates with prospective tenants.
- Ensure compliance with company and legal policies during lease negotiations.
4. Property Maintenance Coordination:
- Serve as a liaison between tenants and maintenance teams.
- Report and track maintenance requests to ensure timely completion.
5. Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate leasing records and tenant files.
- Track lease expirations, renewals, and delinquencies.
- Generate reports on leasing activities and property performance.
6. Customer Service:
- Build strong relationships with tenants and address concerns promptly.
- Provide information and assistance to new tenants regarding move-in processes.
7. Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
- Conduct market research to remain competitive with pricing and property features.
- Monitor trends in the local rental market.
