At Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah, we are looking for a Learning & Development Executive with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the hotel industry, preferably with 5-star hotel experience. This is a supervisory role.
The Learning & Development Executive will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Provide quality training to Team Members.
- Assist in coordinating and administering external trainings.
- Adhere to the in-house training plan.
- Identify training and development needs systematically throughout the hotel in conjunction with Line Managers, Head of Department, HR Manager, and Training Manager.
- Assist department trainers in achieving training objectives and review on a monthly basis.
- Prepare, organize, administer, and conduct in-house training courses.
- Ensure new employees have received onboarding training, departmental, and legal training.
- Ensure Hilton online trainings are completed by Team Members. Monitor the system to track and report.
- Work along with the Human Resources Team to roll out Team Member recognition activities and Travel with Purpose activities.
- Effectively communicate with all stakeholders in a friendly and positive manner.
- Listen, speak, and write in English to ascertain and respond to stakeholder needs.
- Bring innovative ideas such as video making, animation, leveraging digital technology, and social media to market and communicate training and development objectives and implement learning solutions.
- Perform other duties as required.
