To lead the engineering, design, and execution of telecommunications systems for ADNOC projects during detailed engineering phase. This role requires ensuring technical excellence, compliance with ADNOC standards, and the effective management of a team to deliver high-quality deliverables.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the design and engineering of telecom systems, ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry standards.
Review and approve technical documents, specifications, and design drawings for telecom systems, including SCADA, PAGA, fiber optics, and radio systems.
Manage and mentor a team of telecom engineers, ensuring task allocation and timely delivery of milestones.
Coordinate with ADNOC project teams and stakeholders, acting as the primary telecom point of contact.
Ensure the integration of telecom systems with other engineering disciplines for seamless project execution.
Prepare and review technical deliverables such as engineering reports, calculations, and design proposals.
Participate in project reviews, HAZOP studies, and constructability assessments, providing telecom-related inputs.
Maintain strict compliance with ADNOC standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices throughout project execution.
Conduct technical audits and implement corrective actions where necessary to maintain project quality.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 10-12 years of experience in telecom engineering, specifically in FEED and detailed engineering phases.
Experience in leading a team.
Proven experience working on ADNOC projects.
Demonstrated capability in leading engineering teams and managing project deliverables.
Proficiency in telecom system design, including SCADA, PAGA, fiber optics, radio systems, and security systems.
Strong knowledge of relevant standards such as IEC, ITU, NEC, and ADNOC specifications.
Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
Relevant certifications such as PMP or specialized telecom engineering credentials are preferred.
