Lead Project Manager - DDW

Key Accountabilities

• Define the project requirements and performance criteria and establish targets to the project team, ensuring that the project meets those targets.
• Determine Yard obligations against Contract, contract documentation, applicable codes, and standards, and assure that these are communicated to stakeholders and implemented in project execution.
• Manage project execution, including continuous monitoring and reporting in an organized manner to senior management.
• Ensure that change/variation orders for the project are identified, documented, submitted, and tracked in an organized manner.
• Liaise with the procurement supply chain to ensure that all materials/equipment required for project execution are available.
• Maintain effective communication between the client and the project team.
• Identify and resolve conflicts and bottlenecks in the project.
• Systematically track project productivity and schedule, report findings, and prepare contingency plans when required.
• Supervise, coach/mentor, and motivate project team members to enhance their capabilities and performance.
• Identify lessons learned and propose improvement/mitigation actions.
• Improve and develop department processes and procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the section head.

Qualifications/Experience & Skills

• Mechanical, Civil, or Naval Architecture background with shipyard/fabrication yard experience.
• Good knowledge of up-to-date shipbuilding and offshore construction processes.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
• Ability to effectively apply project management techniques.
• Proficient in the application of analytical tools and techniques.
• Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, adaptability, and self-motivation skills.
• Graduate in Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10 years of relevant experience in a shipyard or offshore fabrication yard.
