Lead Offshore Methods Installation Engineer

Role Definition

Position: Offshore Methods / Installation Engineer – with Offshore Transportation and Installation Experience (onshore / offshore based)

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare complete engineering Installation package (installation procedures, rigging drawing, checklist dossier, trial lift & load out procedures, etc.)
2. Follow up all the Interfaces with Installation analysis team (naval engineering, structural engineering, pipelay analysis engineering) including input & deeply review of analysis/design report.
3. Follow up operation phase (including temporary items material procurement, vessel mobilization, subcontractors contracts, etc.);
4. Provide technical assistance to project side vessel management team during mobilization, testing & installation phase.
5. Manage team of engineers (method/ops engineers) and draftsman for preparation of Installation documents.

Software & Standards:

Office package (including Microsoft Project) and good knowledge of main offshore T&I codes (DNV/API, etc.)

Experience:

Minimum 5-7 years in Installation engineering (including operation follow up, offshore & yard experiences)

Education:

Master’s degree in Mechanical/Civil (preferable) or other Engineering degree
