Lead Mechanical Engineer - CCGT

Responsibilities

1. Oversee the design, testing, and implementation of mechanical systems for Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plants.
2. Lead a team of mechanical engineers in developing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
3. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize mechanical system performance.
5. Conduct technical reviews and provide engineering expertise to address complex challenges and enhance system efficiency.
6. Manage vendor relationships and participate in the selection of suppliers for mechanical components and equipment.
7. Develop and maintain documentation such as specifications, drawings, and technical reports for mechanical systems.
8. Support commissioning and startup activities to verify the performance and functionality of mechanical systems.
9. Identify opportunities for innovation and technology advancements to enhance the overall performance of CCGT power plants.
10. Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices and industry trends in mechanical engineering for CCGT applications.

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
3. Minimum of 7 years of experience in design and construction of Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plants.
4. Experience in leading a team of mechanical engineers on large-scale projects.
5. Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
