Lead Landscape Architect

We are looking for a talented, creative, dynamic, experienced, and knowledgeable Lead Landscape Architect to join our studio. The role will be responsible for leading the landscape team and interacting with a multidisciplinary project team to deliver our landscape projects.

The Lead Landscape Architect will be responsible for leading the design of various projects from inception to completion and demonstrate excellence in creativity, technical knowledge coupled with strong communication and management skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors and/or Post Graduate Degree in Landscape Architecture ideally or Architecture.
• CLA CMLI or equivalent licensure (preferred).
• ASLA RIBA or equivalent membership (preferred).
• Minimum 12 years experience in landscape design over a diverse range of project types including commercial, residential, public realm, streetscapes, hospitality, retail, institutional, educational, and other.
• The ideal candidate requires excellent design and presentation skills to clients, stakeholders, project managers, consultants, and the like.
• High proficiency in spoken and written English coupled with strong reporting skills.
• Skill in maintaining effective working relationships and effective communication with subconsultants, project management, clients, client representatives, stakeholders, agencies, and the overall project team.
• Ability to develop conceptual designs, prepare presentations, and see the project through all phases of design to completion to the highest standards.
• Requires proficiency in the application of landscape architectural design standards, practices, techniques, and concepts.
• With advanced technical knowledge in Landscape Architectural discipline and broad knowledge of other associated design disciplines (Urban Planning / Architecture / Engineering / ID etc).
• Proficiency in computer programs AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Adobe Suite (InDesign, PhotoShop), SketchUp, Lumion, Microsoft Office typically associated with landscape architectural design is also required.

Additional Information:

To lead design and oversee multiple projects from inception to completion. Should demonstrate a capacity for creativity, excellent technical ability/knowledge, and strong communication and management skills.
