Lead Instrumentation & Control Engineer

Wood has been awarded a major project with ADNOC and, we are looking to hire Lead Instrument and Control Engineers to be based at our Abu Dhabi Engineering Centre. Below are more details about the role.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Instrumentation or Electronics) from an accredited university with a minimum of fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience in the Offshore / Onshore Oil & Gas industry, including a minimum of five (5) years (preferred) in the GCC region.
• Must have at least five (5) years of experience in a similar position in mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, managing a team of Specialists, Senior Engineers, and Engineers.
• Experience in FEED, Detail design, and EPC projects.
• Fully coherent in all international codes and standards.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English is required.
• Assurance of tender and supply for all I&C equipment.
• Thorough knowledge of DCS, ESD, F&G, and SCADA systems generally incorporated in major Brownfield oil/gas offshore projects.
• Participation with contribution during P&IDs, HAZOP, and SIL reviews workshop. Review and where required approval of work by others.
• Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage.
