Job Description

Wood is currently looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer to strengthen our team in Dubai, UAE. This is a residential position in Dubai with possible travel to Iraq for business trips as and when required.

Qualifications

1. Experience in Brownfield Iraq projects.
2. Preferably a Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering.
3. Minimum of 18 years' experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably on Iraq Brownfield projects.
4. Thorough knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of electrical system design and analysis.
5. Thorough awareness of international codes and standards.
6. Familiar with the typical software packages that are used for electrical system design and selection including Smartplant.
7. Experience of participation in HAZID, HAZOP and IPF/SIL Classification studies.
8. Experience with Concept Selection and FEED studies.
