Lead, Data & Analytics (Team Lead)

At ITCAN, we’re on the hunt for a sharp, structured, and solutions-driven data leader to head our analytics and data engineering team. You’ll lead a diverse crew of data analysts, data engineers, and a key contractual resource supporting integrations, cleaning, and transforming data across multiple platforms.

What you’ll own:

You’ll be the architect of data harmony—building efficient workflows, enabling powerful insights, and connecting the dots across business units. Specifically:

1. Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of data professionals.
2. Oversee data pipeline development, API integrations, and data modeling.
3. Ensure high standards in data quality, consistency, and accessibility.
4. Collaborate closely with marketing, tech, and product teams to align on data needs.
5. Drive automation initiatives and streamline reporting and analytics.
6. Manage external contributors and ensure timely, high-quality outputs.

What you bring to the table:

1. A Bachelor’s (or higher) in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience leading technical data teams in agile environments.
3. Deep knowledge of SQL, data warehousing, API integrations, and ETL processes.
4. Hands-on experience with tools like BigQuery, Python, and cloud-based data platforms.
5. Solid understanding of business needs and translating them into data solutions.
6. Strong project management and communication skills.
