KBR is looking for a Lead Civil Engineer to be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE

Summary: The ideal candidate would be an experienced Engineer with formal qualifications and the following key skills:

• Experience in installing feed gas compressor to deliver gas to the desired operating parameters (mainly desired pressure).
• Experience in Liquefaction and fractionation of Natural Gas (LNG).
• Experience in Integrating Nitrogen Rejection Unit.
• Experience with Fuel Gas systems.
• Experience with importing power from the grid.
• Experience with Air Cooling systems.
• Experience with Instrument / Plant Air Systems.
• Experience with Fire Water systems.
• Experience with Desalinated water plants.
• EPC experience in a Large LNG plant.

Anticipated Roles and Responsibilities:

• Civil Engineering degree holder.
• 18+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• A minimum of 6-8 years’ experience as a Lead Civil Construction Engineer in Oil & Gas Projects.
• At least 5 years’ experience working as a Lead Civil Construction Engineer in Middle Eastern countries.
• Responsible for the implementation of construction work processes, project procedures, and instructions within assigned operations. Ensure subcontractors are working with the latest issued documents and drawings.
• Design of steel structures using state-of-the-art software such as STAAD PRO, MAT3D, FOUNDATION 3D (including connection detailing) for pipe racks, shelters, access platforms, sheet piles, equipment supporting structures, pipe supports, and steel modules for in-situ as well as transportation/lifting/installation conditions.
• Prefer global EPC Contractor or Sub-Contractor experience.
• Leadership qualities to manage all indirect and direct manpower on site and deliver the planned progress.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).

Experience and Qualifications Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in engineering.
• Minimum 20+ years Maintenance work experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.
