Job Opportunity: Lead Civil Engineers

Wood has been awarded a major project with ADNOC, and we are looking to hire Lead Civil Engineers to be based at our Abu Dhabi Engineering Center. Below are more details about these positions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering as a minimum. Candidates with a Masters in Structural Engineering are preferred.
At least 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects.
Experience in design from Conceptual stage to Detailed Design stage.
Hands-on experience in industry software, such as:

STAAD Pro Connect Edition
Mat 3D
Foundation 3D
PROKON
3D Model Review Tools (SPR & Navis Works)
MS Office Suite

Able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing with other disciplines & multinational workforces in an effective manner.

Experience Required:

Experience in design of:

Plant layouts
Roads
Drainage systems

Experience in designing different types of concrete and steel structures such as:

Pipe racks/Pipe bridges
Sleepers
Process structures/Equipment support structures
Equipment foundations such as:

Heat Exchangers
Vertical & Horizontal Vessels/Drum
Columns/Towers
Very large Tanks
Spheres

Dynamic load structures of Compressor & Pumps
Equipment Shelters
Plant Buildings like:

Control Room
Substation buildings
Admin blocks
Site Camps
Blast resistance design of Buildings and Structures
