Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lawyer to join our legal team within a dynamic group of companies in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing comprehensive legal support to a diverse range of business sectors, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations, and safeguarding the interests of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Legal Advisory: Provide expert legal advice and support to the management and operational teams across various business units within the group.
2. Contracts Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents, ensuring they are legally sound and aligned with the company’s objectives.
3. Compliance: Ensure all business operations comply with applicable laws and regulations, including corporate governance, commercial law, labor law, and industry-specific regulations.
4. Dispute Resolution: Manage and resolve legal disputes, including litigation and arbitration, in collaboration with external counsel when necessary.
5. Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, protecting the company’s assets and reputation.
6. Corporate Structuring: Assist in the structuring and restructuring of the group’s entities to optimize legal and tax efficiencies.
7. Legal Research: Stay updated on changes in legislation and case law that may impact the company’s operations and advise the management accordingly.
8. Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, HR, and compliance teams, to support the company’s strategic goals.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university. A Master’s degree (LLM) or professional certification (e.g., Bar admission) is highly desirable.
2. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of legal experience, preferably within a group of companies in the UAE. Experience in multiple sectors is an advantage.
3. Knowledge: Strong understanding of UAE laws and regulations, particularly in commercial, corporate, and labor law.
4. Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High attention to detail and accuracy.
