Job description
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support on corporate and commercial matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance regulations and legal standards
- Advise on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions
- Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for business transactions
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may affect the company
- Liaise with external counsel and regulatory bodies as required
- Handle company incorporations in Free zones, restructuring, and liquidation processes
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Advise on corporate governance matters, including board meetings, shareholder resolutions, and corporate transactions
- Conduct yourself in an ethical and professional manner at all times
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate or commercial law
- Strong critical thinking and research skills
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents
- Strong understanding of corporate governance, compliance, labor law, and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously and with a team of attorneys
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines
- Self-confidence, self-motivation with excellent communication skills
- Valid UAE driving license and computer skills
- Language: Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cross-border transactions and international corporate law
- Knowledge of labor law and tax law is a plus
