Laser Technician

Responsibilities

• Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team and highlight any urgent results as per procedure guidelines.
• Deliver correct Laser Parameters by using the standard set by the manufacturer.
• Ensure that patients are aware of the pros and cons of laser treatment and its possible untoward reactions.
• Take responsibility for equipment care and disinfection, ensuring that the fiber optics are set in the proper place to avoid damage to the machine.
• Ensure that Periodic Preventive Maintenance is performed at the required time.
• Maintain professional standards and quality control procedures to ensure safe and efficient practice.
• Follow up with all new patients to ensure compliance with post-treatment care and monitor for any side effects that may require further management.
• Be aware of Regulatory guidelines of DHA and ensure display of signboards for Safety Protocols.
