Laptop Motherboard Technician & BIOS Programmer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laptop Motherboard Technician & BIOS Programmer. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing and repairing laptop motherboards at the component level, along with proficiency in BIOS programming and firmware troubleshooting. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong technical background and a commitment to delivering high-quality repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and troubleshoot laptop motherboard issues, including power failures, short circuits, and faulty components.

Perform chip-level repairs, including soldering and reballing integrated circuits (ICs).

Identify and replace defective motherboard components such as controllers, resistors, and capacitors.

Flash, modify, and program BIOS/UEFI firmware for various laptop brands and models.

Recover corrupted BIOS firmware and resolve boot-related issues.

Efficiently disassemble and reassemble laptops for diagnostics and repairs.

Requirements:

Proven experience in laptop motherboard repair and troubleshooting.

Strong understanding of circuit schematic diagrams, electronic components, and power distribution systems.

Proficiency in soldering and desoldering techniques, including the use of hot air and rework stations.

Hands-on experience with BIOS programming, firmware flashing, and chip-level repairs.

Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience: 1-2 years of hands-on experience in hardware troubleshooting and computer repairs.

Skills: Strong knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems.

Expertise: Familiarity with multiple laptop brands, chipsets, and their associated BIOS/firmware systems.
