Lap pathologist

• Perform diagnostic tests (blood, urine, tissue) in hematology, microbiology, chemistry, immunology, and histopathology.
• Ensure accurate and timely test results; maintain lab equipment and ensure quality control.
• Review patient histories, recommend further tests, and interpret results for clinicians.
• Supervise lab assistants and maintain accurate lab records and supplies.
• Contribute to research and stay updated with advancements in pathology.
• Ensure safety, compliance with health regulations, and maintain lab documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient care.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education: MBBS/MD in Pathology or equivalent; additional certifications in relevant subfields preferred.
• Experience: 3-5 years in a diagnostic laboratory or healthcare setting, with expertise in hematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, etc.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of laboratory testing, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently or in a team. Strong commitment to patient care, confidentiality, and ethics.
• Language: Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Preferred: Experience in the Gulf region and familiarity with local regulations.
