Job Description:
As a Landscape Architect, you will be responsible for designing and planning outdoor spaces that are aesthetically pleasing, environmentally sustainable, and functional. You will work on a variety of projects, from public parks and urban landscapes to private estates and recreational spaces. Collaborating closely with clients, engineers, and architects, you will help create spaces that connect people with nature while addressing key design and environmental challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop landscape design concepts and plans for a variety of projects, including urban parks, streetscapes, residential gardens, and environmental restoration projects.
• Prepare detailed site plans, planting plans, and technical drawings using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, GIS, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Conduct site analysis and assessments, including environmental, cultural, and historical considerations.
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and vision for outdoor spaces.
• Collaborate with architects, urban planners, engineers, and other professionals to integrate landscape design into overall project plans.
• Provide guidance on plant selection, irrigation systems, materials, and sustainable design practices.
• Participate in client meetings, project presentations, and site visits.
• Ensure compliance with local zoning laws, environmental regulations, and building codes.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution.
• 3+ years of experience in landscape architecture, with a portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in landscape design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, GIS, Adobe Suite).
• Strong knowledge of sustainable design practices, plant materials, and horticulture.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of local zoning regulations and environmental laws is a plus.
• LEED or sustainability certification is a plus.
