Position: Land Surveyor

Location: Ras-al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates

Salary: 1600 AED per month

We are looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Ras-al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. The successful applicant will be responsible for performing field surveys, calculating accurate measurements, and recording data using surveying equipment. This position is open to both local and foreign applicants.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Surveying or Civil Engineering from an accredited university and a minimum of one year of experience as a Land Surveyor. We are also willing to consider applicants with no experience but must possess the necessary technical abilities.

Responsibilities:

1. Conducting field surveys using surveying equipment such as transits, levels, total stations, etc.
2. Calculating accurate measurements from the survey results and entering them into survey software packages.
3. Maintaining records of surveys and collecting data such as photos, videos, etc., for future reference.
4. Identifying potential surveying hazards and taking appropriate measures to mitigate them.
5. Interpreting data from aerial photographs or satellite images.
6. Ensuring accuracy of all survey activities in compliance with regulations and codes of practice.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Surveying or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
2. Minimum 1 year experience as a Land Surveyor (willing to consider applicants with no experience).
3. Possess knowledge of surveying software packages like AutoCAD and ArcGIS.
4. Ability to understand complex technical documents related to land surveying regulations and codes of practice.
5. Demonstrated ability to work effectively on both individual projects and as part of a team environment.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (fluency in other languages is an advantage).
