1) Contact potential FTL / LTL logistics clients through our database, emails, cold calls etc.
2) Present Alpha Star Shipping's strength and capabilities to FTL / LTL potential clients
3) Identify and understand client needs and suggest appropriate services and solutions
4) Build long-term trusting relationships with logistics clients
5) Proactively seek new FTL / LTL business opportunities in the market
6) Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) FTL/ LTL clients and Sales Managers
7) Report to the Head of Sales on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
8) Stay up to date with new FTL / LTL products/ services and new pricing/ payment plans
9) Coordinate with the transporters regarding the placement of vehicles for our clients.
10) Follow-up with transporters and vendors for Proof Of Delivery and invoicing the job file.
11) Job opening in ERP software and updating the shipment status to clients.
