About the Role:

As Commercial Lead at Trella, you will be an integral part of our sales & fulfilment team, focused on expanding our customer reach and managing key accounts in the UAE. Your main responsibilities include growing the dedicated market to meet Trella's targets, and acquiring new customers, ensuring their successful onboarding and grow their wallet with Trella.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead generation, conversion, and complete account management from qualification to end of shipper journey.
  • Spend time outdoors for customer visits, trade exhibitions/conferences, and networking to generate new leads.
  • Market research to understand where the new opportunities are for land transport. Understand customer needs deeply and offer solutions that meet these needs.
  • Emphasize product features to solve customer problems, answer queries about Trella's products and services.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and prepare sales agreements.
  • Meet monthly targets of net revenue and own collections from designated customers.
  • Collaborate across departments, including operations, marketing, finance, and customer service teams.
  • Maintain contact lists, follow up with customers to continue relationships, and use rapport for collections and overdue payments.
  • Regularly update CRM, create weekly sales reports, and submit sales plans.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • (3-5 years) of experience in a transportation sales environment in GCC, with knowledge of Supply market. Proven portfolio of growing a business or product.
  • Knowledge of Customs Clearance Rules and border regulations at different land border crossings from UAE.
  • Enthusiastic, motivational leadership mentality and ability to stay organized in a rapid-growth environment.
  • Strong sales mindset with experience in growing partnerships and exceeding targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. This means listening actively, speaking politely, and articulating your thoughts clearly and considerately with respect.
  • UAE Driver's License and vehicle.
  • Proficient in English, knowledge of Arabic or Malayalam is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Fresh Sales or other sales tools is a plus.
