IBERCHEM is part of the Flavours & Fragrances business within Croda, an FTSE100 company focused on delivering 'Smart Science to Improve Lives'.

Due to the continued expansion of this business, we are now looking for a Laboratory Technician for our Laboratory in the Dubai Office to support our customers, operations and continued growth in the region.

As part of the Technical Laboratory team, your objective will be to refresh raw materials and you may assist and prepare application samples for personal and home care applications.

The requirements for the position are:

• A bachelor’s degree, Laboratory scientific qualification in chemistry, biochemistry or a related field (degree level qualification required).
• Experience in a Fragrance, Chemicals or in a related laboratory environment.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Computer literate, flexible and able to work under their own initiative.
• Passionate about fragrances and eager to take on new challenges.
• High level of English (essential requirement).
• Ability to challenge the ad-hoc processes and continuously suggest improvements.

Laboratory Technician – Job Description:

• Ensure and maintain a clean and orderly laboratory environment and lab equipment in accordance with EH&S guidelines and good laboratory practices.
• Ability to apply fragrance ingredients with quality, speed, and accuracy.
• Assist in applying fragrances to consumer products when assigned.
• Assist in the administration of materials and laboratory organisation.
• Ability to prepare applications with quality, speed, and accuracy.
• Administration of sample requests and ordering of fragrance oils.
• Monitor raw materials’ shelf lives and replenish when necessary.
• Assist in managing fragrance oils, customer base and internal base inventories.
