Laboratory Assistant
Job description
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of lab equipment and materials for experiments and tests.
- Perform routine laboratory tasks such as sample preparation, labeling, and storage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory workspace.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Record and analyze data accurately, maintaining detailed and organized lab records.
- Assist with the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous waste according to established procedures.
- Support senior lab staff in conducting experiments and research activities.
- Prepare reports and presentations on lab findings as required.
- Ensure compliance with all laboratory regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a laboratory setting.
- Basic understanding of laboratory equipment and procedures.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic data entry.
