Roles and Responsibilities

The QC Laboratory Assistant will be responsible for supporting the laboratory officer and QC supervisor in controlling lab analysis of raw materials, finished product checking, and lab testing. Managing the receiving of raw materials, processing lines, and maintaining hygiene activities in the factory.


Job Description

  1. Conduct sampling as per Environmental Monitoring Plan.
  2. Check and monitor hygiene conditions and GMP implementation inside factory areas.
  3. Report any nonconformities observed during the testing.
  4. Maintain the calibration of the lab equipment.
  5. Conduct the preventive maintenance of the lab equipment.
  6. Conduct incoming material inspection of all raw materials and packaging materials.
  7. Conduct physio-chemical analysis of the product as per the specification.
  8. Perform further checking of raw materials in the laboratory.
  9. Monitor in-process products to ensure food safety and quality.
  10. Collect finished product samples for sensory and laboratory verification.
  11. Collection of samples for environmental monitoring.
  12. Verification of the effective pest control program in the factory.
  13. Conducting personal hygiene checks for all factory staff.
  14. Conducting internal audit as per the internal audit plan.
  15. Monitor and update the food watch platform.
