KYC Officer

Hays is partnering with a major oil company to hire a KYC Officer for their Dubai office. The role involves ensuring compliance with AML, CTF regulations, and PCR, conducting due diligence for clients and vendors, and assessing risk levels.

The KYC Officer will conduct KYC checks, perform regular reviews of customer records, analyse transactional patterns, and develop KYC policies with legal and compliance teams. They will stay updated on relevant laws and regulations, train staff, prepare KYC reports, and facilitate inter-departmental communication. Additionally, they will participate in compliance reviews and audits, and handle tasks delegated by the Head of Compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Strong experience in AML regulations, international maritime law and sanctions list.
• Must have experience working in oil & gas/ commodity trading, shipping, logistics or similar fields.
