Job Title: Compliance Architect

Location: Dubai

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Architect with extensive experience in designing solutions for Compliance and Risk systems within financial institutions, specifically in the UAE region. The ideal candidate will have expertise in KYC and Customer Lifecycle Management processes and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design strategic solutions for Customer Lifecycle Management platforms and KYC processes.
• Manage the lifecycle of solutions, conduct technology watches, and develop proofs of concept for Compliance systems.
• Evaluate technical vendors and oversee the RFP process.
• Define architecture for major projects and modifications to the existing landscape, guiding project and service teams in implementation.
• Document the existing landscape in terms of business functions, applications, interfaces, and technical components.
• Exhibit a strong commitment to project success by going the extra mile.
• Navigate various data sources for compliance screening and reporting, optimizing processes and data aggregation.

Domain Expertise Required

• Compliance (KYC, Customer Lifecycle Management) in the Banking domain.

Application and Version Knowledge

• Good to have working knowledge of SAS (AML, EFMS) and Fircosoft suite of products.

Essential Skills

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong understanding of KYC platforms, Customer Lifecycle Management, and security processes involved in multi-tier, multi-tenant web applications (e.g., SSO, OAuth, SAML, Field-Level Encryption).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of technology components, regulatory reporting, compliance processes and tools for the banking industry, data modeling, integration technologies, data governance, data streaming, cloud, Agile, DevOps, and presentation skills.
• Experience managing the lifecycle of solutions, technology watch, and developing proofs of concept for Compliance systems, applicable to both on-premise and cloud-based components (especially AWS).

Nice to Have Skills:

• Principles of network, application, and information security.
• AWS Professional certification.
• Compliance-related certifications.

Desired Skills

Competency Requirements:

• Expertise in technology components, regulatory reporting, compliance processes and tools for the banking industry, data modeling, integration technologies, data governance, data streaming, cloud, Agile, DevOps knowledge, and presentation skills.

Function Area Knowledge:

• Compliance & Risk regulations mandated by CBUAE across Personal, Business, and Wholesale Banking, with knowledge of digital banking/mobile and core banking systems and their integration.

Team Handling Skills:

• Good to have.

Methodologies:

• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps methodologies.
