Cooking Area Chef (Job Number: KIT000038)

Description:

  • Supervise all station staff members and ensure compliance with standard recipes, food preparation techniques, quality standards, kitchen policies, hygiene guidelines, and procedures.
  • Implement safety protocols according to established policies and report any incidents to management.
  • Control all recipes prepared for serving to ensure they meet quality, presentation, and time specifications, making timely decisions to avoid substandard products.
  • Record waste items and take necessary actions to reduce waste for cost control.
  • Validate the required par levels for all items.
  • Research and suggest new concepts and recipes to the Head Cook to meet or exceed set targets.
  • Follow up on orders with vendors, receive goods, verify specifications, ensure proper storage, and sign acknowledgment receipts.
  • Train team members on essential kitchen duties and ensure compliance with legal regulations.
  • Upsell products while working in the butcher shop.
  • Assist in supervisory duties including planning, assigning tasks, setting deadlines, monitoring results and quality, and communicating team requests to management.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Level in F&B or Hospitality Management.
  • 3-4 years of experience in F&B operations in a similar role.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Adjustment and Flexibility: Level 2.
  • Customer Focus: Level 2.
  • Driving and Achieving Results: Level 1.
