Job Description: Kitchen Helper/Steward

Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Kitchen Helpers/Stewards for a one-month project in Barsha 3, Dubai, with the potential for extension based on performance. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, pantry, and dining areas. Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Ensure all surfaces, including floors, counters, and workstations, are clean and sanitized. Dispose of waste and manage trash bins in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Support Kitchen Operations: Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation as needed, such as peeling, chopping, and assembling ingredients. Ensure a steady supply of clean kitchen tools and equipment for chefs and cooks. Refill and stock kitchen supplies, including cleaning agents, dishware, and utensils.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Follow food safety and hygiene protocols strictly. Adhere to personal grooming and uniform policies. Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor promptly.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of the kitchen team to ensure seamless operations. Respond promptly to the needs of chefs, waitstaff, and supervisors.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Kitchen Helper or Steward in a professional kitchen.
• Strong understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards in the food service industry.
• Physically fit to handle extended hours (12-hour shifts) and the demands of kitchen work.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, punctuality, and reliability.

Job Details:

• Duration: One-month project (extendable based on performance).
• Salary: AED 2,000 (basic) + AED 300 (transportation).
• Duty Hours: 12 hours/day.
• Location: Barsha 3, Dubai.
