Position Name: Key Account Manager Tender

Location: Abu Dhabi/Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Role Summary: The Key Account Manager - Tender will play a critical role in driving JP's growth within the UAE healthcare market. This role will focus on improving patients' access to JP products and securing public tenders from government institutions by building strong relationships with key decision-makers, developing winning strategies, and ensuring flawless execution. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to the company's success and work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute winning public tender strategies: This encompasses pricing, positioning, and value propositions to maximize win rates.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships: Foster and nurture relationships with key stakeholders at all levels within targeted healthcare institutions, including procurement officers, clinicians, and senior management.
  3. Conduct thorough market and competitive analysis: Identify new public tender opportunities, analyze market trends, and assess competitor activities.
  4. Lead cross-functional collaboration: Ensure seamless execution of public tender bids by collaborating effectively with Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, Regulatory, and other relevant departments.
  5. Integrate tender business objectives with overall business strategy: Align tender activities with the company's operating plan, supply chain strategies, and financial forecasts, with regular communication and adjustments.
  6. Develop and implement effective pricing strategies: Leverage market and competitive analysis to optimize pricing for public tenders.
  7. Lead strategic account management activities: Drive account growth and profitability through market analysis, opportunity identification, competitive intelligence gathering, and the development and execution of winning tender strategies.
  8. Ensure timely and successful delivery of public tenders: Meet all contractual obligations and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical/Healthcare sector within the UAE or the wider MENA region.
  • Minimum 2 years of proven success in managing and winning public tenders within the healthcare sector.

  • Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to develop and execute winning tender strategies, including pricing, positioning, and value propositions.
  • Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders (e.g., HCPs, procurement officers, government officials).
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Regulatory) and external stakeholders.
  • Negotiation & Influencing: Excellent negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to build consensus and achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective solutions.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.
