Job description

We are seeking a Junior Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and assistance to end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and document support procedures. Additionally, you will help in determining solutions for escalated support cases. This role requires excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide technical support to end-users through various channels, such as phone, email, and chat.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
  3. Document support procedures and update knowledge base articles.
  4. Escalate unresolved cases to appropriate teams and follow up until resolution.
  5. Assist in testing new software releases and updates.
  6. Assist with the setup and deployment of new hardware and software.
  7. Provide training and assistance to end-users on software applications.
  8. Collaborate with other team members to enhance support processes and workflows.
  9. Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements.
  10. Adhere to company policies and regulations while handling customer data.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field.
  2. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to solve technical issues.
  3. Knowledge of various operating systems, such as Windows and macOS.
  4. Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
