Junior Process Engineer

Job Title: Process Engineering Technical Authority

Responsibilities:

1. Serve as an expert/technical authority in the area of Process Engineering including line hydraulics, surge analysis, equipment sizing, etc.
2. Handle Engineering at various stages of the project like feasibility, FEED, DD including Procurement, Construction, and Pre-Commissioning.
3. Review and complete process activities in coordination with third-party consultants and relevant disciplines during the FEED and EPC stages.
4. Perform As-Building activities of process engineering documents, drawings, etc., including PFD, PID, Cause and Effect Diagram, and related process documents.
5. Develop as-built drawings by integrating interface drawings and documents between existing assets and newly built facilities (modifications and new unit additions).
6. Act as the main focal point and highest technical authority on Process-related activities for FEED/EPC scope development.
7. Review and provide input to FEED scope of work and supervise the engineering/construction/EPC contractor's work for all modification and engineering activities.
8. Carry out feasibility studies and prepare/review deliverables related to the project.
9. Supervise the FEED/DD/construction/EPC contractor(s) work ensuring compliance with HSE&S standards and international codes/standards.
10. Interface with contractors' engineering teams to provide technical guidance and expertise.
11. Prepare and review datasheets/specifications, P&ID, study reports, process calculations, vendor screening/selections, and technical bid evaluations.
12. Coordinate with quality control, Asset Integrity, Projects, and Operations teams to provide specialist engineering support.
13. Participate in costing and preparation of budgets for projects and support business case studies for high-value modification projects.
14. Review technical content of Non-Conformance Requests (NCRs), warranty claims, derogation requests, and provide recommendations for management approval.
15. Perform other similar or related duties as required or assigned by the Process Engineering Manager.
16. Lead development and surveillance of contractor studies to support screening.
17. Lead development and surveillance of process engineering elements of FEED deliverables on selected concepts from pre-FEED through FEED approval.
